Theodoros Grigoriadis was born in 1956, in Kavala, Northern
Greece. He studied English Literature in Aristotelion University of
Thessaloniki and taught English in state schools. For the past 20
years he has published 10 books of fiction which sold well and were
highly praised for their literally prose and their topics centered
on matters of gender, identity, immigration, otherness.
He attended a seminar on writing film scripts and wrote two
scripts for state channel ERT1 and two theatre plays presented on
stage.
He reviews books, organizes literary seminars and takes parts in
conferences about modern fiction.
He was the script writer in the creative team for the Opening
Ceremony for the Summer Special Olympics 2011, that took place in
Athens in June 2011.
